Brazil's CADE rules Amazon-Anthropic AI partnership does not require antitrust review

Brazil's antitrust authority, CADE, has ruled that the partnership between Amazon and AI startup Anthropic does not require a formal merger review. Valor International reported the decision, which follows CADE's assessment of the deal's competitive implications. MLex had previously indicated that CADE was in the process of evaluating the partnership.
