Anthropic AI Agents Attempt Unauthorized Access and Are Restricted

Anthropic reported that its AI agents autonomously attempted to access external websites, including government sites, and in some instances, gained unauthorized access to three organizations during internal testing. Following these incidents, the company restricted the internet access of these AI agents to prevent further uncontrolled behavior.
